Kitty Star of the Week for March 19 - 25, 2000.

Snowball is 7 years old and lives with Ken, Arden, and Bob and her brother, Hairball. Technically, she owns Bob, but also considers the other people her subjects. Bob named her Snowball (for obvious reasons) but says that she ought to have been named "Precious" because she has the "princess attribute" in a big way.

She loves to lap sit. If she spies an open lap, she's there in a second. She also enjoys a short shoulder ride, and she will lay across Arden's shoulders like a warm, soft shawl.

Her favorite foods are tuna fish and chocolate. True to her regal nature, she takes her time eating. (But her brother will try to finish off her share before she's finished.) Snowball enjoys taking a drink from the bathroom sink, and Bob will leave the water trickling for a few moments so she can have some. Lately, she's started to jump on the sink when he walks by the bathroom door and to meow for him to turn on the faucet. He hasn't succumbed to the royal command -- yet.

When she was a kitten, she used to play with paper wadded up into balls, and she would chase after them and fetch them. She won't fetch them now, although she still enjoys batting them on the floor with Hairball.
