Kitty Star of the Week for Jun. 29 - Jul. 5, 2003.

This week meet, Harry. His person-mom writes,

"Harry Boxlee is an easy-going, energetic, and loving 1-yr-old boy whom we, his "humans," adopted some weeks ago from the Humane Society. (Our previous cat, beloved Echelle [see Cat of the Week, May 13-19, 2001], died on Easter 2003 after a long fight with kidney disease.) Harry and his buddy, Buttercup (adopted at the same time), have been close friends since we brought them home, and they never cease to amuse and entertain us--especially Harry. Harry (who already weighs 13.5 lbs) will scarf down just about anything, although we try to keep him from eating things other than his cat food! He loves to play with catnip toys and gallop around the house with his buddy, Buttercup (adopted at the same time). Unfortunately, he ALSO loves to chew the electrical cords in our bedroom, particularly at about 4 a.m.--a habit we are trying to cut short by covering the cords with duct tape. But he's a great cat!"
