Kitty Star of the Week for July 13 - 19, 2003.

From our submitter:

"T.J. is a male American Shorthair who is 7 years old. He is an extremely loving cat and was left to us in March when my grandfather suddenly passed away. He and his canine sister Greta are loved very much and are treated just as we treat our cats Putt and Tom.

"T.J. is a little on the heavy side, he is about 26 pounds. He is on a diet but doesn't like it too much. In case you are wondering, T.J. stands for Tiger Junior. Everyone that comes to our house says he is like a teddy bear because he is so soft and loving. The only food that he eats is cat food, cat treats, and he also likes to eat dog food. We have a huge container for dog food and one day we caught him nibbling at dry pieces of dog food. He sleeps in his own room at night because he wanders around and causes mischief. Mom was finding crumbs in the floor; well, T.J. was smart enough that he opened the door on the container, ate, then closed it. So, now we have a bolt put through the lock that is on the container (now we know why they made the lock).

"T.J. loves to go outside on his harness and walk around on the dog's lead. He also has to be held every morning by my Mom, he always sits with her first thing in the morning (after eating of course)."
