Kitty Star of the Week for August 17 - 23, 2003.

Moskva was found abandoned on the road to Bansha, Co. Tipperary, one stormy dawn. He was really hungry and upset at his misfortune. His new humans took him home, and he thanked them by redecorating the back seat of the car... such a small kitten, so much vomit.

After seemingly spending weeks asleep in the warm ashes of the fire place (as well as eating his people out of house and home), he shook off a nasty sneeze and started to gain weight. Unfortunately, he ultimately lost an eye to an infection, but the vet did a great job of cleaning-up his rather scabby face and closed up the eye socket - giving him a really mean looking scar. This seems to suit his demeanour (swagger, furtiveness and tough guy routine).

Despite this hard beginning, Moskie never stopped purring, never stopped lapping up attention. He lives with two other 'moggies', Bib and Smock. His favourite foods include olives, Golden Grahams and cheese. He is often seen rapidly leaving the scene of disasters, spends hours getting his stripes in order, and frequently moves his humans around the sofa so as to get the really warm spot. (He recently got his own passport.)
