Kitty Star of the Week for July 16 - 22, 2006

This week our star is Spooky, and his person-mom writes:

"Spooky is the brother of my 2 previous Kitties of the Week, Piki and Gatita. As you can see, Spooky loves to eat and is a rather chubby guy. He is one of 4 kittens in a sibling group that we kept all of and he is now 3 years old. He was perfectly litter box trained for 3 years and then started wetting all around the house. I knew he wouldn't do it just to be disagreeable, so I took him to the vet. Sure enough, he had a urinary tract infection and had an x-ray and got a shot and got 10 days worth of medicine. He was so good about taking his pills, just swallowed them without even any protest. He is feeling much better now and is back to using the litter box, thank goodness. Spooky is our only cat who plays fetch like a dog. If we throw a plastic ring, he runs and gets it and brings it back and puts it right in our hands. If we don't want to play fetch, he keeps handing us the ring and uses his paw to tap the arm of the person he wants to play with him. He is very persistent until he gets someone to play fetch with him. He loves to lay on the storage container in the picture so he can watch the birds outside our window. We are happy to have Spooky as a part of our "family" of 10 cats."

Spooky's mom also sent new pictures of Piki and Gatita. Their mom says they want to possess everything that belongs to her!
