Kitty Star of the Week for June 3 - 9, 2007.
The Kitty Star is Mikko this week. He is a Flame Point Ragdoll who is 18 months old.
His person-mom writes,
"I had a Siamese for many years that died from old
age. When she died I told myself I would never have another kitty as it
was too hard to lose them. After about five years, my daughter
brought Mikko to me. Needless to say, I didn't resist. He was seven weeks
old, pure white with blue eyes and could fit in the palm of my hand. He is
now about 15 pounds and growing! It could be because he gets "treats" nightly
consisting of a shrimp! He is always waiting at the door for me when I
get home and rolls on his back for his belly rub. He sounds like an
elephant when he runs through the house. Mikko sits on the bathroom sink every
morning while I get ready for work and lays on the kitchen floor whenever I am
in the kitchen cooking. If it weren't for the fact that he loves his
catnip mice I might think he was a dog in the body of a cat. He is regal,
gentle, loyal and loving and... my best friend.
"He's going to be a big boy and he's a real lover.
He follows me around like a puppy and puts his front paws up for a hug."
