Kitty Star of the Week for May 27 - June 2, 2001.

Chloe, a long-haired calico, was born in May of 1995; so she's 6 years old now. She has the sweetest disposition of any cat her humans have ever had. You can put hats on her and take pictures; you can hold her like a baby. She loves her person-dad, Lou, and whenever he sits down on the couch, she curls right up next to him.

She doesn't really like to play with toys much, but she loves to eat house plants, so her person-mom can't leave them anywhere that she can climb to. Chloe knows where she's not supposed to go, and runs when she sees her person coming. She comes when called, and answers with a little purr noise when she's on her way.

Chloe was born on a horse farm outside of Dresden, Ohio, and her mother's name is Judith. That year, 5 cats on the farm had litters, so one of the engineers at where Chloe's human works had 21 kitties that he was trying to find a home for. He was able to find families for them all! Chloe's people picked her out from a photograph, and 2 years later they adopted her half-sister, Daisy. The cats share the same mother, but have different personalities!
