"Mia is one year old. She is a mixed breed but I don't know of what.
She lives in Massachusetts with me, my family and her sister Tia. Her
favorite toy is a cotton ball mouse that I made for her but is now
gone because she ripped it apart. Mia loves to snooze near the
window and get patted, but she loathes to be held for some reason.
She will always meow when you pick her up. If you catch her in a
good mood she will let you hold her, but I still love her."
"Tia is also one years old and is the same breed as Mia. Tia is a
cutie that loves to cuddle up with you. She loves to be held and
doesn't fuss when I have to brush her teeth (unlike Mia who hisses).
Her favorite toy is a little bead that she can hit around like a
soccer ball."

Some cat facts...
- "Cobby" means short and sturdy on low legs.
- Cats walk on their toes.
- Kittens are born with 26 milk teeth. Adults normally have 30 teeth.
- Cats without protective pigmentation can get sunburned. White cats are especially susceptible.
- "Cat" in German is "Katze."
- The first cat show was held in 1871 in London, England.
- Being able to reduce the pupils to slits rather than tiny circles gives cats greater and more accurate control of how much light enters their eyes; this ability is particularly important in bright sunlight.
- Today's cats remain close to their wild ancestors; virtually nothing has been added or taken away from the wildcat's nature.
