Kitty Star of the Week for September 3 - 9, 2000.
Cindy is 13 years old, and she lives in Italy with our submitter's
parents. They got Cindy from a friend of the father in
1987. Cindy is the most beautiful cat her person has ever seen.
She has beautiful light blue eyes and is a mixed siamese and tabby.
She has always been an indoor cat even when the family
lived in the country. Cindy is a great hunter -- many times
she's caught birds, even pidgeons, from the balcony!
Her person says, "She is the sweetest cat. She always used to sleep
with me on my bed. Now that I don't live with my
parents anymore (I live in Canada), she spends most of
her days in my bedroom waiting for me.
Every time I call my mother, Cindy comes to the phone
meowing because she knows it's me.
But very soon I will see her again after 16 months!"
