Kitty Star of the Week for February 15 - 21, 2004.
This is Tom, the polydactyl cat (more toes than he should have!).
Tom lives in Idaho. His person-dad writes,
"Tom is friendly. He loves catnip. Some years I
grow it for him. I made a video of him on catnip chasing
a laser dot. His favorite toy is a sock filled with catnip.
I don't let him outside anymore, but when I did he liked
to catch and eat rabbits that were as big as him. I feed
him high quality dry cat food. I always leave him just a
little bit hungry because I heard kittys last longer if they
don't get over fed. I don't let him outside because I worry
about coyotes getting him."
