Kitty Star of the Week for September 12 - 18, 2004
Pugwash (named after a British children's cartoon) is a recent addition to his family's
home, arriving this past June. He had been injured in an accident
and had to have 1 eye removed and his jaw wired. His new family
saw him at the vets (when their cat Stanley, whom we met last week,
was in for tests), and decided to bring him home.
At first he needed to be confined, and he also was upset when things
would come at him from his blind side. But as he adjusted to his new
surroundings, he became more social, and he now comes out to see
what's going on. He also enjoys his after-breakfast fuss
and attention from "mom". Pugwash was originally a very messy eater,
but after trying different kinds of bowls, trays, and mats, his
people found the combination that works.
