Kitty Star of the Week for October 24 - 30, 2004
This week our star is Romeo.
His person writes,
"He is a 2 year old grey tabby, and he lives in Tijuana Baja
California, Mexico. Romeo is a very special cat. He loves to be in
the same room that you are; in summer he sleeps on the floor and,
in winter he sleeps on the bed with me and my husband. Romeo used to
sleep in between us, but ever since my husband squashed him now he
prefers sleeping on my side.
"Five months ago Romeo went outside and
didn’t return until 3 days later. We were so worried, and when he
finally appeared he was very ill. We took him to the vet, and we
found out that his tail had to be removed. We still don’t know what
happened, and how he managed to kill his own tail, but now he is a
very happy cat with no tail.
"Romeo is also a great dramatist and
will beg for his can food -- don’t you dare eat and not feed him
first. As you can see in the picture, he loves to play in little
spaces, like in a box, in the basket with the dirty clothes, in
an empty bag or just in the sofa. He will only let someone pet him
if he wants to. His full name is Romeo Rodriguez Garcia."
