Kitty Star of the Week for May 8 - 14, 2005
Our submitter writes,
"This is my faithful old cat, Kitty. I found her as a tiny kitten
in a parking lot and I was afraid she would get run over, so I
picked her up and have kept her. Kitty is 21 years old now, and
although she's now deaf as a board and has gotten very frail,
like a little old lady she's not lost her ability to get around
and demand attention! Favorite special foods are tuna fish and
milk for a treat. The picture shows her majesty on her heated bed
where she spends most of her time these days."
A sad update... Her person wrote the following:
"I must convey the sad news that Kitty has passed away today,
August 9, 2005.
"The veterinarian said there was no way to help her, only one
thing to do as she was so ill.
"Kitty had been fighting kidney failure for about 6 months. It's a
battle nobody wins.
