Kitty Stars of the Week for May 29 - Jun. 4, 2005
This week our star is Dillweed (also known as Dill, Dilly, and Dillweedimus)
and his family. Dill's person-mom explains the setup...
"Dill is 2, lives in Alabama, and has three older sisters: Phoebe, 10,
Thisbe, 10, and Kitten, 8. Kitten's real name is Princess Buttercup;
however, she has only ever answered to Kitten. They are all rescues.
My dad raised show cats, and I always mean to get one, but then I
find another stray and, well... you know.
"Dill also has a dog-sister, Ginger and dog-brother, Sam, both 4.
Although Dill gets along with the other cats now (in fact he adores
Phoebe) when we first brought him home they strongly objected, so
Dilly hung out with the dogs. We sometimes believe Dill thinks he
IS a dog. He plays & sleeps with them, pounces on them and chases
them around the house, and even tries to eat with them. Well...
mostly he just steals the food nuggets, and when he's done playing
with them, bats them under the fridge. I think there's currently
about a pound of dog food under there. :)
