Kitty Star of the Week for December 25 - 31, 2005
Shadow, a kitty from Pennsylvania, is our star, and her person-mom writes,
"I have a cat named Shadow. My sister has a cat named Midnight, and my parents have a cat
named Zoomer. Shadow is black and white. I almost named her Boots, because her paws are
white, and the only other part on her that is white is her stomach. I didn't name her Boots
though, because she would have been missing a boot!
"Shadow is a seven month old, female, tabby cat. She lives on the bed in my room or her cat
condo. Shadow LOVES her food. She may sound like a pig but it's partly our fault. She
doesn't know when to eat because we leave the food out all day. She sometimes falls asleep
on the floor near the food bowl! It's funny.
"Shadow runs around a lot, plays/tackles her sister kitty, and loves to be petted, kissed,
picked up, or anything else that involves being near you.

"Shadow especially loves
jumping up onto the computer desk and sitting right in front of the computer and meowing
like it is the end of the world. Then she'll step on the keyboard and mess up anything
I was doing. I love her though, and she loves me. I don't think we could be without each
other for more than two weeks. She goes nuts if I go near the door. She'll howl and howl
and scratch at the door until I come back in. You can hear Shadow from across the street
and down the parking lot. Shadow also likes to have staring and blinking contests. I
really love Shadow -- and all cats and animals for that matter!"
