Kitty Star of the Week for June 18 - 24, 2000.
Alchemy is about six years old. She was rescued as a kitten from
an animal shelter. In the beginning, she was wild and uncontrollable,
because she was a timid kitty. As her person-mom says, Alchemy was
a "pounce first, sniff later" kitten. Despite her wildness, her
person-mom spotted her as "the one" and took her home.
Alchemy enjoys eating spaghettios. And she likes to sprint across
the table at dinner time. Another pastime Alchemy enjoys is
annoying her sister-cat. Alchemy does not like car rides and will not
walk on a leash.
As she has gotten older, Alchemy's coloring has changed from all
grey to a golden tan. She has gotten somewhat less afraid; she is
especially brave where dogs are concerned, although she still
doesn't care for other cats too much.
