Kitty Star of the Week for July 9 - 15, 2006
Our kitty star this week has two names: Liz and Tinkerbell (or Tinks,
for short). Liz showed up one day at a weekend home in Pennsylvania
-- scruffy, friendly, and meowing her distinctive raspy meow. Her
first guardian gave her a comfy, warm place to sleep and some food,
and named her Liz.

She stayed for a while, but she likes adventure -- and mousing -- and
she discovered the big farm next door with all the animals, and the
rodents that come for the animal feed. Liz also likes activity and people,
and lots of goings on. So she moved in next door. Her
new guardians named her Tinkerbell.
Liz/Tinkerbell is the master of the farmyard -- in her own mind,
at least -- and she often relaxes, surveying her domain. She still
mouses when she wants to, and will beat up any other cat she thinks
deserves it, despite the fact that she is a small girl.
But she is still super friendly with people, still enjoys attention,
and still greets her friends with that meow.
