Kitty Star of the Week for August 12 - 18, 2001.
This fabulous feline is called Matilda, and she is very keen on
computing! She likes to sit on on her human's knee while she's
at the computer and watch the cursur arrow move. She isn't
fooled by "the mouse" one bit. She tries her paw at typing now
and again but has yet to master the art. Give her time!

Her favourite napping place in the study is in the paper tray
under the PC, and when she decides her human has been online for
too long, Matilda nudges her head against her human's knees. If her
mom ignores this gentle reminder, Matilda puts her front paws on
her mom's knees and inserts claws slowly. This is usually
sufficient persuasion for her mom to disconnent and go and feed her.
Matilda is 8 years old, and her mom says, "I don't know what we'd do
without her. She is the queen of the house and rules my husband,
and I with a paw of iron. We love her to bits."
